Barratt Homes is working to enhance its leadership team across South Wales, by appointing a new trainee assistant site manager.

The five star housebuilder champions initiatives that are designed to bring through talented leaders for the future – and its latest recruit looks set to deliver just that.

“It’s very important that we identify and develop new managers who will lead our teams over the coming years because it’s this talent that sets us apart from the rest,” said Barratt sales manager Richard Lawson.

“We’re delighted to be welcoming Tomas Jackson to our team, and I look forward to seeing him deliver stylish and quality homes for us in the future.”

Tomas Jackson is taking part in Barratt’s bespoke three year foundation degree course in Residential Development and Construction at Sheffield Hallam University. Tom will be based at the housebuilder’s popular Hanbury Village site in Torfaen.

“It’s an amazing opportunity to learn construction, management style and leadership skills from expert mentors. I feel really lucky that Barratt Homes is supporting my studies while I learn on the job.” said Tom.
