Business advisory firm Quantuma has appointed Paul Slevin as director to lead the firm’s expansion into Wales.
Paul, who will be based in offices in central Cardiff, joins Quantuma with more than 30 years’ experience in public and private sector roles, including healthcare, manufacturing and data service. He is also president, chair and a director at South and Mid-Wales Chamber of Commerce.
Having worked on many restructuring and advisory cases across Wales and internationally Paul brings strong advisory experience which is relevant to the local market.
This move into Wales follows a period of significant geographical expansion for Quantuma, including the recent merger with Kingsland Business Recovery in Bradford, Birmingham and Nottingham and its first office in the North West at a site in Manchester. Quantuma also expanded overseas with new offices in Cyrus and Mauritius in 2019.
Graham Randall, partner at Quantuma, said: “Paul’s appointment marks a significant milestone for Quantuma in expanding into a new region. We recognise that the Welsh business communities expect their advisors to have unrivalled local knowledge and a strong presence, so Paul’s appointment reflects that. This is our initial investment and commitment in developing a strong presence in Wales.”
Paul Slevin, director at Quantuma Wales, said: “I am delighted to have been appointed to lead Quantuma’s expansion into Wales. I believe that there is a growing demand amongst the Welsh business community for robust advisory services from a challenger brand such as Quantuma, which has demonstrated a clear ability to deliver a wide range of positive outcomes for clients.
“We actively encourage businesses facing signs of stress to seek early advice from our highly qualified and experience professionals to ensure they receive the appropriate support and guidance required to overcome signs of stress and return the business to full health.”
Founded in 2013 by Carl Jackson, Quantuma has grown to become a £25m practice employing 250 staff. Headquartered in London, the company has a strong presence in the South of England, with locations in Southampton, Marlow, Watford, Brighton and Bristol.
