It seems that Greene King have decided that the Loch Fyne brand isn’t working in Cowbridge.
I liked the Loch Fyne offering and dined there several times. Shame.
I tried the Bryn Owain today for lunch and can’t say that I was wowed by the service. Had to wait around ten minutes for my order to be taken. Food was fine but can’t say I left feeling any warmth towards the place. Somehow, something seems to have been lost in the translation (or transition). Still, it’s early days.
Also, the fruit machine doesn’t really say ‘Cowbridge’.
